What is an Effective Program?
An effective fat loss program……
#1 – Must include God: When it comes to fat loss we cannot settle for a temporary change—we need a life transformation for lasting results. Too many secular programs have produced a temporary change, but never a transformation. Only God can transform a life.
#2 – Deals with the root cause of body fat: When it comes to losing body fat we mainly deal with the symptom, which is obviously the excess body fat. If we don’t discover why we are fat we may temporarily lose weight only to regain it, but if we destroy the root there is no threat of it reoccurring again.
#3 – Eliminates all hindrances to fat loss: There are many hindrances to losing excess body fat: inaccurate knowledge, toxic foods, damaged endocrine system, lack of activity, self-help in place of God’s help, etc.
#4 – Is a complete program: A complete fat loss program consists of nutrition, exercise, the Word of God, prayer, and physical and spiritual supplementation.
#5 – Does not eliminate any nutrients: An effective fat loss program must include all three macro-nutrients: Protein, Essential Fatty Acids, and Carbohydrates.
#6 – Teaches you how to effectively eat to lose: There are six foundational strategies that are required to effectively decrease body fat (long-term).
#7 – Does not endorse toxic foods that make you fat loss resistant: There are foods that contain toxins which makes us fat loss resistant. If your fat loss program does not recognize or teach you to avoid these toxic foods you are sure to be filled with them making yourself fat loss resistant – every pound lost becomes a struggle.
#8 -- Teaches how to detoxify the fat cells: The first step physically to maximizing your fat loss is to effectively detoxify your body while increasing your metabolism.
#9 – Has a fat burning exercise program & teaches that less exercise is more: There are two types of exercise. One is designed around fitness, and the other is designed specifically for fat loss. Exercising for fitness is more strenuous, time consuming, and difficult to embrace as a lifestyle. On the other hand, exercise for fat loss is less strenuous, takes less time and is easier to embrace as a lifestyle.
#10 – Is a permanent lifestyle change: Permanent fat loss must be thought of long-term—not just losing the pounds and not knowing what the future holds, but developing a lifestyle that causes you to lose the body fat and be forever able to enjoy a healthy life.
#11 – Manages fat storing hormones & heals the endocrine system: There are mainly two fat storing hormones and both are affected by stress. Learning to manage these two hormones and healing the exhausted endocrine system will alleviate a large amount of excess body fat.
#12 – Is affordable: Regardless of the effectiveness of a program, if the participant cannot afford it the program does them absolutely no good.
