"I asked God to allow me to be a prayer warrior for pastors." by Ron Williams
Pastor's Corner
For many years I asked God to send me prayer warriors to help build a strong healthy church. Year after year I prayed that God would send men and women into my ministry to pray with me, and for me to be the man who God desired me to be. During this time of waiting, the Lord allowed me to feel the desperate need of having prayer warriors. I stopped asking God for prayers warriors and said to Him, "teach me to pray as prayers warriors pray". Once he taught me to be a prayer warrior, the Lord "look at all the Pastors around the world who need prayer; not just someone who would pray for them, but someone who knows the battles and pressures that come with being a pastor". At this time I asked God to allow me to be a prayer warrior for pastors -- one who loves them and weeps and cries out to God on their behalf. God gives me certain pastors to pray for and these pastors I feel belong to me; their struggles, pains, fears, and successes become personal.
