In the continuing journal of Anna, I have to say that I was so proud to see her make it through a cupcake-filled Sunday. After seven days, I can see the way that she is starting to shape her attitude toward eating the right foods and doing the right things. This is one that has made her mind up that she is not going to fail and God is going to help her through her journey, take a look.

Day 7 -
PM: I skipped breakfast today because I over slept and was running late to church.  Today was my last Sunday of the month to teach the kids.  How I love being with them.  We had cupcakes today to celebrate all the birthdays for the month.  I watched how they went crazy over the snacks – requesting a second one even before finishing the one in their hand.  I see how I too grew up without any boundaries – without an education of food and how it affects my body.  I don’t remember my parents ever restricting my siblings and me from eating certain foods – just as long as we brushed our teeth before going to bed.  Lord, give me the boldness and Love to begin to share with everyone, even the children, how God is calling us to take care of our temples. Oh, Lord – to get the children more involved now.  Lord, give the children Your revelation.
